About the Exhibition

A digital art museum featuring over 300 ukiyo-e prints reimagined through 3DCG animation and projection mapping spans nine immersive zones—creating a spectacular sensory journey.

Exhibition Highlights

Starting June 28, 2025, at JR Kyushu Hall in Hakata, Fukuoka, the exhibition will feature an exclusive fragrance collaboration with the Japanese perfume brand HATENKO. This immersive digital art experience, which has attracted over 250,000 visitors in previous cities, invites guests into a multisensory journey of traditional ukiyo-e and scent.

Fragrance Zones

「Uruwashi」 Zone – Featuring “Sakigake”

In the refined beauty of the Uruwashi zone, HATENKO's perfume Sakigake is diffused throughout the space. Inspired by Utamaro's iconic bijin-ga (portrait of a woman with a comb), the scent reflects elegance and softness, enhancing the immersive experience of classical femininity and floral motifs.

「Miyabi」 Zone – Featuring “Hanabi”

Set in a vibrant interpretation of Edo's pop culture, the Miyabi zone showcases Hanabi, a fragrance inspired by Hiroshige's “Ryogoku Fireworks.” The aroma captures the feeling of nostalgic summer evenings, paired with vivid visuals and a large-scale Mount Fuji installation.
